If he did it wouldn't work any more. This is a "chirp" sonar not a "pinger".
It has to be a non-repeating waveform to get good results.

Sonar crashes after a few chirps
Gopher Sat 29 of Sep, 2007 23:01 AEST

The prog crashes on my ASUS 636 after a few chirps. When I chirp manually I can do up to 30 chirps before crash, you have to pause a few seconds between the chirps but even when I pause 10 seconds I cant do more then around 30 chirps.
I tried to change the pause and do it automatically but it also crashes after a few chirps.cry

    Whats the prob?

    Gopher.

Daniel, are you going to "port" this to NT/2000/XP PC? Look awesome and the original has some awful bugs..

First we are going to find the bug in the code but this take some time (now I'm very limited). The port to PC platform is possible (even simple), program was created in c++ (first in VC++ and later in WM 2005). I can make the sorce code open for all people who want to cooperatecool

Giordano Tue 15 of Jan, 2008 14:43 AEDT

    Hi everybody, I've some problems...
my pda has the speaker in one side and the microphone in the other, may be a problem? which is the scan direction, the speaker one or the mic one?
my scan is not so defined like the screenshot you posted (http://www.eddiem.com/nerds/show_image.php?id=88), there is a lot of noises (yellow pixels); i took the best offset and i tried to change setting but the music doesen't change... :-( any suggestion?
    tia, Giordano

    Daniel,
Your link for SonarCE v1.19 for WM5 still points to the old site and is showing up in the error logs.
    I will edit it.
